Model Based Test Generation: A Case Study
Aiming at improving software quality, as well as reducing the costs of testing process, we developed TaRGeT, a Model-Based Testing (MBT) tool that automatically generates test cases from use case scenarios written in natural language. In this paper we present TaRGeT and show quantitative and qualitative results of the tool's usage in two case studies inside Motorola Brazil Test Center (BTC).
متن کاملModel Checkers for Test Case Generation: An Experimental Study
In this paper we study the performance of various model checkers in test case generation scenario. The model checkers we consider are Cadence SMV, NuSMV, NuSMV’s Bounded Model Checker (BMC), the explicit state model checker SPIN and CMU’s SMV. The test cases are generated from specifications written in the SCR language. We suggest a strategy for minimizing the test generation time while ensurin...
متن کاملA Simulation Tool to Determine Warehouse Efficiencies and Storage Allocations
Using ProModel simulation language, a universal warehouse storage simulation model has been developed. Applications of the model have been executed with success to analyze the storage capacity and rack efficiency of a medium volume, low stock-keeping unit (SKU) warehouse and a medium volume, large SKU warehouse. The model is scaleable and can be modified to simulate any warehouse configuration,...
متن کاملWarehouse Simulation Through Model Configuration
The pre-build development of warehouse systems leads from a specific customer request to a specific customer quotation. This involves a process of configuring a warehouse system using a sequence of steps that contain increasingly more details. Simulation is a helpful tool in analyzing warehouse design alternatives, but setting up a detailed simulation is too expensive early in the development p...
متن کاملA Linear Storage-Retrieval Policy for Robust Warehouse Management
Assigning products to and retrieving them from proper storage locations in a unit-load warehouse are crucial in minimizing its operating cost. The problem becomes intractable when the warehouse faces uncertain demand in a dynamic setting. We assume a factor-based demand model in which demand for each product in each period is affinely dependent on some uncertain factors. The distributions of th...
